The starters for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game have been announced, including LA Dodgers superstar Ohtani.

The MLB office selected starters at nine positions in both the National and American Leagues after a first and second round of fan voting.

Joining New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge and Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper as the top vote-getters in both leagues in the first round of voting, Ohtani joins a star-studded field for the first time ever as the designated hitter for four consecutive years.

Ohtani is currently batting .319 with 27 home runs and 64 RBIs, ranking first in the league in batting average and home runs and third in RBIs.

Harper's teammate, Trey Turner, edged out the Dodgers' Mookie Betts for the starting shortstop honors in the National League.

Alec Bomb (third base-Philadelphia), William Contreras (catcher-Milwaukee), Ketel Marte (second base-Arizona), and outfielders Christian Yelich (Milwaukee)-Yurickson Profar-Fernando Tatis Jr. 고스톱 온라인 (San Diego) round out the National League All-Stars.

The American League All-Star infield is anchored by Adrian Rutherford (catcher-Baltimore), Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (first base-Toronto), Jose Altuve (second base-Houston), Jose Ramirez (third base), and Gunner Henderson (shortstop-Baltimore).

The outfield consists of Juan Soto (Yankees) and Stephen Quan (Cleveland), led by Jersey.

The designated hitter will be Jordan Alvarez (Houston).

The Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be played at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, home of the Texas Rangers, on May 17 at 9am.

The full All-Star roster, including pitchers and reserves, will be announced on the 8th.
